Kemmerer Eocene Fish Fossil Collecting

Join the fish expert, Blake Sullivan, as we dive in to the Eocene lakes of Southwestern Wyoming in the world-renowned Green River Formation, 52 million years of geology await your hammer to bring you face to face with aquatic fauna waiting to be discovered by you!

On Saturday evening we will gather inside the Best Western Conference room for dinner and to meet with Blake Sullivan, our quarry host. Blake will be showing you some amazing finds and telling personal stories you won't want to miss! We will cover our liability sheets before resting well to uncover treasures from the past on a PRIVATE, invitation only quarry.

On Sunday we will scamper up the mountains to dig for about 4 hours AND you get to keep just about everything you find! Rare species must stay with the quarry. We will leave the hotel at around 8:30am and dig from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. We will depart from the quarry about 2:00 pm. Your hands will be full of amazing specimens that YOU collected!
